Script To Screen

At this meeting we will read scenes from studio films, then watch the  scenes to analyze how they brought the script to life with: 1. Art Direction 2. Mise en Scene 3. Camera Movement 4. Lighting We  will assess how much of the written script actually made it into the  final film. We will discuss what worked and what didn’t and dive into  how we can apply studio techniques to our own films to make them  cinematically dynamic on a limited budget. If you are a writer,  director, or DP (new and/or experienced) studying other filmmakers,  along with practice, is how you enhance your own filmmaking style and  technique.
